CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna — A rookie policeman shot dead an amok that stabbed a tricycle driver on Saturday morning in Barangay Ilat North in San Pascual, Batangas.

The police who responded to the incident was identified as Patrolman Jonathan Wee Bacroya of San Pascual Municipal Police Station.

Ambrocio recounted that the suspect blocked his way going home, and thereafter, a heated argument ensued between them that ignited the suspect to attack him and stab him several times in his left leg.

Bacroya, who was on board his motorcycle on the way for his official duty at the police station, witnessed the incident and tried to pacify and negotiate with the suspect, but the suspect ignored it and continued stabbing the victim.
