A total of 90,931 election returns (ERs) have so far arrived at the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting’s (PPCRV’s) command center, the poll watchdog said on Friday afternoon, May 20.
PPCRV, in a Facebook post, said that this is equivalent to at least 84.36 percent of poll returns in the country. Of this number, 57,405 came from Luzon, 17,485 are from Visayas, while 15,139 are from Mindanao.
The church-backed poll watchdog, for the first time since it started its operations, disclosed that it likewise received 902 overseas poll returns.
Meanwhile, PPCRV’s operations at its command center located inside the University of Santo Tomas will only run until Friday, May 20.
PPCRV will then transfer to another location to manually encode and validate more ERs as they are aiming to match “as many as they can.”
