MB Daily News Update: PH Coast Guard continues to flex muscles in West PH Sea

After putting up buoys with Philippine flags in the West Philippine Sea, the Philippine Coast Guard said it has put up three command posts in three islands in the disputed area.

The seven-day average of Covid-19 cases in Metro Manila has risen by 19 percent, according to the OCTA Research Group, even as the Department of Health (DOH) noted that more than 40 million Filipinos have yet to receive their booster shots against the coronavirus.

Filipinos will soon be headed to South Korea anew after its embassy in the Philippines announced that it will start accepting applications and issuing visas anew on June 1, 2022.

And with just one heave in the clean-and-jerk of the 55kg. of women’s weightlifting, Hidilyn Diaz cruised to a gold medal finish in the Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
