Police Regional Office – Region 4A has 211 new police personnel


CAMP GEN. VICENTE LIM, Laguna – A total of 211 police applicants have passed the sequential stages of the selection process and completed the requirements, Police Regional Office 4A announced on Monday.

P/Brig.Gen. Gregory Bogñalbal, who chaired the regional selection committee, has completed the processing of the 1st and 2nd batches of Patrolman applicants for calendar year 2021 Unfilled Attrition Recruitment Program.

The 211 applicants have already submitted the required documents in accordance with the National Police Commission Memo Circular no. 2021-001.

Director Brig. General Antonio Yarra of Provincial Regional Office – Region 4A, officiated the oath-taking ceremony and turn-over program witnessed by the branch manager of Landbank, Parian, Calamba Branch, Violeta B. Meneses, who facilitated the ATM cards for the salary and allowances of successful candidates.

Yarra welcomed the 211 successful recruits in the police service. He reiterated the importance of dedication and commitment to excellence of the new members of the police force.

He even cited the importance of self-improvement and discipline in achieving excellence in their chosen careers in public service.

The 211 successful recruits shall receive a salary of P29, 668.00 effective today, Monday, May 16, 2022 and for every month thereafter. T

The PRO4A also commended Patrolman Jayson Espiritu, one of the successful recruits of Laguna Police Provincial Office, for returning the wallet of P/SSgt. Edilberto Hilbano, member of Regional Headquarters Support Unit which the former found. The wallet contained cash money worth 11,000.00, cellphone, government identification cards, ATM cards and driver’s license.
