MB Daily News Update: NCR, 79 other areas to stay under Alert Level 1 until May 31

More gold medals poured in for the Philippines on late Sunday, May 15, 2022, as the country moved into third place in the overall medal standings in the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for Covid-19 decided to keep Metro Manila and 79 other areas under Alert Level 1 from May 15 to May 31.

Meanwhile, 39,882 election returns have so far been matched with electronically transmitted copies by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), which has consistently logged a high match-rate.

And in the senatorial race, actor Robin Padilla and returning senator Loren Legarda continued to set the pace, while ACT-CIS remained on top spot in the roster of party-list groups trying to gain seats in the House of Representatives.
