“All good things really come to an end. Thank you Beemo for being part of the ONIC family!,” wrote Onic in its announcement on its Facebook page.

“We'll surely miss your iconic tank plays, not to mention you're one of the best roamers out there! Always keep that ONIC heart of yours burning, 'till we see you again,” it added.

Beemo was a vital part of the Onic team that finished runner-up in Season 8 and was also with the squad during the M3 World Championship in Singapore last December as the team's sixth-man.

Beemo used to be the starting roamer for coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda that season but was relegated to the backup role to give way to the midlane tandem of Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy and Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales during the worlds and eventually the Season 9.

The veteran tank player previously played for Ownage Esports in Seasons 3 and 4 but missed the next two MPL seasons before making a comeback with Laus Playbook Esports in Season 7.

He played sparingly for Onic in Season 9, only seeing action once in the regular season. Onic however suffered an early exit after losing to RSG Philippines via sweep in the upper-bracket semis before it got eliminated by Omega Esports in the lower bracket.
