Mayor-elect Honey Lacuna and running mate vice mayor-elect Yul Servo held a city-wide motorcade on Friday, May 14, to express their gratitude to the Manilenos who supported and voted for them in the May 9 polls.

Lacuna topped the Manila mayoral race with 534,595 votes, according to final results from the City Board of Canvassers.
“Buong kababaang loob po akong nagpapasalamat sa tiwala, suporta at pagmamahal ng mga kapwa ko Batang Maynila sa bagong mandato na ibinigay ninyo sa inyong lingkod at karangalan na maging kauna-unahang babaeng alkalde ng minamahal nating lungsod (I humbly thank the trust, support and love of my fellow Batang Maynila for the new mandate you have given me and the honor of being the first female mayor of our beloved city),” Lacuna earlier said in a statement.
“Sa lahat po ng mga lumahok sa halalang ito, inaabot ko ang kamay ng pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan upang gawing ganap na maayos, epektibo, maunlad at matiwasay ang buhay ng bawat pamilyang Manilenyo (To all those who participated in this election, I extend my hand of unity and cooperation to make the life of every Manila family orderly, effective, prosperous and peaceful),” she added.
Lacuna is the first woman in the history of the city to hold the post.
Manila 3rd district Rep. Yul Servo Nieto, who also joined Lacuna in the motorcade, led the vice mayoral polls with 582,941 votes
