ACT-CIS unshaken in PL poll; Uswag Ilonggo, Tutok to Win barge into Top 10


Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support Partylist (ACT-CIS) remained on top of the partylist race based on the results of the partial and official canvassing of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Friday night, May 13.

ACT-CIS earned more than 800,000 votes on the fourth day of the canvassing as it collected a total of 1,924,249 votes (5.8133 percent) out of the 50,806,959 canvassed votes.

1-Rider Partylist overtook Ako Bicol Partylist at the second spot with 900,412 votes. Ako Bicol fell to the fourth spot with 795,448 votes.

The third spot was seized by Tingog Partylist with 844,377 votes while 4PS preserved its spot at the fifth place with 781,409 votes.

But the biggest gainers were USWAG Ilonggo and Tutok to Win partylists who both barged in the Top 10.

The sixth to 10th places were captured by the following: Sagip with 705,224 votes; Uswag Ilonggo, 684,513; Ang Probinsyano with 670,582; Tutok to Win with 614,336; and CIBAC, 597,533.

Partylist that will obtain at least two percent of the total votes cast are secured of at least one seat in the House of Representatives. A maximum of three seats are allowed per partylist.
