This annual event honors Filipinos who made significant contributions to the betterment of people with autism and those who have made great efforts on spreading autism awareness.

Ms. Romina Bautista was the one who proposed the Inclusion Program at CEU to offer learning opportunities for students with disability/disabilities in a regular education classroom. She was guided by Dr. Teresita Carey, former School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music and Social Work (SELAMS) dean, and under the consultation of Dr. Maria Rita Lucas, present SELAMS dean, and Ms. Nancy Pascual, former SELAMS faculty.

For more than 25 years, the CEU Inclusion Program has continued to serve learners with special needs taking up non-degree and degree programs in college. CEU also offers Bachelor of Special Needs Education with an option for additional specialization in Early Childhood Education for aspiring Special Education (SPED) teachers.
