Teodoro said his upcoming third term poses new challenges as expectations are high from the people in terms of good governance, sustainability, and continuity of services.

With his whole team in place, he hopes to continue fulfilling their mandates to the city and its people, saying this show of solidarity is the best outcome of their victory.

Teodoro won as Marikina mayor in 2016 and again in 2019 for his second term.

The mayor has been lauded for his responses to the Covid-19 pandemic and leadership in disaster risk response and management.
