Long lines seen in Malabon polling precincts on Election Day


Voters lined up early morning to cast their votes at Potrero Elementary School in Malabon on Monday, Election Day, May 9.

Some voters were seen looking for their names to make sure that they are in the right polling station.

As of 7:00 a.m., the number of voters started to decline compared to the initial rush during the opening of voting hours.

Police officers were busy reminding voters to observe the safety health protocols amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mayoral candidate Councilor Enzo Oreta also cast his vote at Potrero Elementary School.
