“What a ride it has been!!,” she wrote on Facebook as she released a five-minute video of her campaign rallies with Yeng Constantino’s and Rivermaya’s “Liwanag Sa Dilim” as background.

“Isang malaking karangalan para sa akin na ipaglaban kayo—at makipaglaban kasama kayo. Ipanalo na natin ang sambayanang Pilipino (It is a big honor for me to fight for you—and to fight with you. Let us win the Filipinos),” Robredo, who staged a mammoth miting de avance along the stretch of Ayala Avenue and Makati Avenue on Saturday night, May 7, said.

The video showed snippets of Robredo and running mate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan’s rallies—from the first one in the Vice President’s home town of Naga City that drew 20,000 Bicolanos to the streets to the last one in Makati that some said ballooned to nearly a million.

The video also showed Robredo dancing in Masbate, Occidental Mindoro, Zambales, and Baguio.

It showcased various cultural dances and performances by the Vice President’s volunteers, most of whom comprised the youth.

Her message echoed that of Pangilinan, who, on Saturday, told the crowd that it had been an “honor” and a “privilege” for him to go to battle with them.

“Proud na proud ako na kasama kayo sa labang ito (I am very, very proud to be with you in this fight). It has been an honor, a privilege,” he said.

“Anuman ng resulta ng eleksyon, sa inyo pa lang panalo na tayo (Whatever the result of the elections, we’ve already won because of you),” the senator added.
