Parts of 9 cities in Metro Manila, Bulacan to experience water interruption starting April 30

The Maynilad Water Services, Inc. has advised its customers in nine Metro Manila cities and Bulacan that they will be experiencing low to no water supply starting Saturday evening, April 30, until May 16.

It said that the water service interruptions will occur every 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the said dates, affecting portions of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Makati, Manila, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon Cities, and Bulacan.

The lists of the barangays per city that will be affected are posted on Maynilad’s Twitter page: https://twitter.com/maynilad/status/1519195472275001344?t=ZbdyJySLOmAwrlhYn7pk6g&s=19

According to Maynilad, the water service interruptions will be implemented to continue managing the quick drawdown of water from their reservoirs due to high demand during daytime.

It said that it will allow them to refill their reservoirs at night in preparation for the daytime.

It added that their mobile water tankers are prepared to deliver potable water if needed.

Customers were also encouraged to store enough water during the time that the supply is available.
