The top seeded RSG PH dominated Onic PH in the first two games before leaning on the clutch plays from Dylan “Light” Catipon in Game 3 to seal their spot in the upper bracket finals against TNC Pro Team which also won earlier against Omega Esports, 3-1.

With Onic PH dictating the tempo for the first time in the series in the third game, RSG found itself confined in its own base. That, until Light on his Atlas pick, executed a perfect Flicker-Fatal Links combo that caught two players from Onic PH to stop the siege push.

Onic’s play went downwards from that point as Light executed another perfect Atlas ultimate to catch and pick off Kairi “Kairi” Rayodelsol’s jungle Baxia during the 16-minute Lord fight. And if still that’s not enough, Light scored another three-man catch on his ultimate at the 21-minute mark to put the nail in the coffin for 14-8 series clinching win.

Unlike in the third game, Game 1 was a stomp for RSG with Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto on the Karina and Eman “Emann” Sangco on the Wanwan having their way in the one-sided 20-7 affair.

Demonkite had a free reign on his farm and quickly snowballed to finish with a 6-0-9 line while Emann his own perfect showing of 5-0-3 KDA.

Onic showed better resolve in Game 2 as Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy got his hands on his signature Natalia pick. RSG, however, came in prepared for it punished Baloyskie with nine deaths with only five assists to show.

Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo spearheaded RSG in that game finishing with a 8-2-1 line on the Esmeralda while also serving as protection to his carry heroes in Emann’s Beatrix and Aqua’s Yve.

RSG and TNC will dispute the first seat to the Grand Finals and the ticket to the MSC in Malaysia on Saturday at 7 p.m.
