Muntinlupa City’s biggest health center inaugurated


Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi inaugurated the new Lakeview Health Center in Barangay Putatan, the biggest community-based health facility in the city.

Fresnedi led the blessing ceremony and unveiling of the marker of the two-story Lakeview Health Center together with Rep. Ruffy Biazon and other city officials.

He emphasized that the newly constructed health center is a testament to the city government’s commitment to provide quality primary health care service to residents.

Also present were City Health Officer Dr. Juancho Bunyi, Majority Floor Leader Raul Corro, Councilor Allan Camilon, and Councilor Ivee Arciaga-Tadefa.

The Lakeview Health Center has an Animal Bite and TB facilities as well as Reproductive Health, Prenatal Consultation, Immunization, Breastfeeding, and Dental Rooms. It also has a laboratory which is being eyed as a research arm for the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) and is envisioned to specialize in community-based palliative care.

It is located beside the city government’s housing project BALAI Muntinlupa, a housing complex for city government employees and officials.

The housing project will have 35 four-story medium-rise buildings with 668 housing units and 115 parking spaces.
