ALAMAT surges with new power ballad, tops local Apple Music charts

ALAMAT is on a roll.

The boy group, whose distinct multi-lingual style and very Pinoy fashion sense, has been making headway of late.

Their brand-new single “Sa Panaginip Na Lang” aced the local Apple Music charts when it was released last week Wednesday.

“Sa Panaginip Lang” is a change of pace for ALAMAT. Haunting and hook-heavy, the song is an obvious shift from ALAMAT’s usual R&B-electro-dance-pop numbers.

Fans approve of the new song as the hashtag ‘#ALAMAT_SPNL’ and ‘#ALAMATSPNL Out Now’ trended on Twitter just before the long Holy Week weekend started.

ALAMAT also premiered “Sa Panaginip Na Lang” on the Wish Bus, Wish 107.5’s popular platform last week. A throng of ALAMAT fans, called ‘Magiliws’ watched and supported ALAMAT just outside the Wish Bus as ALAMAT performed their new song as well as their previous single “ABKD.”

ALAMAT is also one of the top music acts from the recently concluded P-Pop Convention held at the Smart-Araneta Center.

ALAMAT, which originally began with 9 members, recently revamped its roster and is now a tight 6-man unit that includes Tomas, Taneo, R-Ji, Alas, Mo and Jao.
