Yuka Saso, Dottie Ardina and Bianca Pagdanganan barely made the cut after struggling in the second round of the 2022 Lotte Championship in Oahu, Hawaii Friday.
Saso limped home with a two-over-par 74, Ardina stumbled with a 75 and Pagdanganan shot a 77 to make the final cut after posting a two-round total of 147 for a share of 62nd place.
Saso, who had a first-round 73, blew cold at the back nine where she fumbled with four bogeys. She earlier had three birdies against a bogey on the par-4 fifth hole.
Ardina, meanwhile, birdied the par-4 No. 10 but had four bogeys including back-to-back on 17th and 18th. She had an earlier round of 72.
Pagdanganan, who scored a 70 in the first round, had a rollercoaster round of three birdies, six bogeys and a double bogey on the par-5 fifth hole.
The windy conditions proved challenging for the trio as they trail solo leader Hyo Joo Kim by 13 strokes.
Kim shot a second straight bogey-free 67 for 134.
Saso tees off with Haru Nomura and Jenny Coleman in Saturday’s third round at 7:33 a.m., while Ardina and Pagdanganan resume their bids at 7:22 a.m. and 7:11 a.m.
