Lawyer to the stars calls Nadine Lustre 'laos'

Lawyer Ferdinand Topacio is not a big fan of actress Nadine Lustre!

This after Topacio took to Twitter to describe Nadine as "laos" (fading movie star) on April 15.

It started when award-winning film director Antonette Jadaone posted a TkTok video of Nadine, who was talking about her political choices for the 2022 national elections.

In the comment section, Topacio who carries the Twitter ID yesyesyo!, wrote:

1. It's not 220k;

2. Nadine is hardly a role model for the youth. She tried to welsh from her contract with Viva and crawled back only because she lost in court;

3. Her last two movies were dismal flops; and

4. Her latest movie is not making any waves.

Laos, in other words.

Fans defended Nadine from the harsh criticisms. Some comments:

"Nyahaha, and you failed to mention her FAMAS and Gawad Urian acting awards (that none of the actresses in her generation have), nor her movies or shows that made money. Her latest movie and her performance were critically-acclaimed."

"Movie industry is still bouncing back from the pandemic. She settled and made up with Viva, regarding a deal that also was not totally fair to her; read the fine print."

"Dami niyo naman pong alam about kay Nadine considering na "laos" na po siya sabi niyo. Hahahaha"

"And you’re still updated on her life and career??? sounds like fan behavior to me"

"Laos? but u still took the time to just say that on socmed? There are a lot of obsolete and no projects now in showbiz but im not interested, because they aren't interesting to talk about anymore."

Topacio is also a singer, movie critic, record producer and a commentator.

Nadine will star in the upcoming Vivamax film "Greed."
