Vax sites in Pasay City closed during Holy Week


The Pasay city government announced that all vaccination sites in the city will be closed on April 13 to 15 in observance of the Holy Week.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said vaccination and booster shots will be administered at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Giga Site 1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 11 to 12.

Rubiano said the 13 health centers in the city administering booster shots will also continue to conduct vaccination. These are the Kalayaan; Maibay, San Pablo, Dona Nena, MIA, M. Dela Cruz, Lagrosa, Cuyegkeng, Villamor Airbase, San Roque. Leveriza, Dona Martha and San Isidro health centers.

The mayor urged residents to visit the nearest health centers to them to determine the time and day of administering the booster shot.

Rubiano said the SM MOA Giga I vaccination site is open for the first dose and second vaccination for senior citizens (A2); adult with comorbidities (A3); persons with disability (PWDs), essential worker (A4), belonging to indigent population (A5) and those 12 to 17 years old.

She said the city government will administer AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines to those belonging to A2 to A5 category and Pfizer for the 12 to 17 age group. Walk-ins will also be accepted for the whole day.

The mayor said the vaccination for children aged 5 to 11 years old without comorbidities will be at the SM MOA Giga Site 2
