1,500 Central Luzon cops undergo election duties training

Close to 1,500 Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel undergoing mandatory and specialized training were turned over by the Regional Training Center 3 to Police Regional Office 3 on Thursday, April 7, in line with the forthcoming national and local elections on May 9.

PRO3 Regional Director Brig.Gen. Mathew P. Baccay said that the personnel will be deployed to the different provincial and city police offices for election duties.

“Their deployment is dedicated solely to ensure the successful exercise of the right to suffrage of the Central Luzon electorate,” Baccay added.

Red teams will also be deployed to be led by the members of the PRO3 Command group and Directorial staff as part of the security preparations being undertaken by the PRO 3 force.
