Sandra Bullock steps away from acting - report

Oscar awardee Sandra Bullock will take a break from acting to focus on her children.

In a report by People Magazine, Bullock will step away from acting after she finishes promoting her latest movie "The Lost City" which started to hit US theaters last March 25. She co-stars Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe in the movie.

Bullock will focus her energy on her kids Louis, 12; Laila, 10, whom she's raising with her long-time photographer boyfriend Bryan Randall.

"I need to be in the place that makes me happiest. I take my job very seriously when I'm at work. It's 24/7, and I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family," Bullock told Entertainment Tonight."

Bullock's breakthrough role was in the 1994 movie "Speed" where she starred opposite Keanu Reeves. In 2009, Bullock earned the Oscar Best Actress trophy for the movie "The Blind Side."

"We don't know how long or how short, but that's where I'm gonna be for a while," added Bullock, in the article entitled "Stepping Away From Acting: Sandra's Bold Move" which appeared in the April 4, 2022 issue of People Magazine.
