LITZ, a young all-girl sing-and-dance music group, is set to drop their new music video for “Kidlat” at a movie house in Fisher Mall Quezon City today, April 1.

This is the group’s first official music video for an original song since their debut back in November 2021 with their version of the James Reid hit “Natataranta.”

LITZ’s members include Bianca Santos, Yumi Garcia, Fatima Añonuevo. Ashtine Olviga and Heart Ryan Evangelista.

“Kidlat,” which was released a couple of weeks ago, is a track written by Marion Aunor and arranged by Cool Cat Ash of Aunorable Productions.

The music video for their first original is directed by LITZ’s mentor and creative head, Georcelle Dapat-Sy.

Teacher Georcelle, considers “Kidlat” to be the group’s official debut.

“This is just the beginning,” Teacher Georcelle said, “We have a lot of plans for the future. I’m excited for the collaboration. (And the girls of) LITZ are too. They’re always excited! For everything…the training, the fitting, the recording. These girls are all smiles. That’s why the name is LITZ, it (means) ‘life in the sunshine.’”

Teacher Georcelle also mentioned that the same excitement and energy permeated in the making of the music video.

“I really see the potential. Because I wouldn’t take this project on if I didn’t,” Teacher Georcelle laughs. “but LITZ is hungry. I really admired their work attitude. Excited sila lagi. They really enjoy what they’re doing.”

LITZ’s Music Video Premiere for “KIDLAT” will be preceded with a red-carpet event to be attended by Pinoy pop music artists, actors and celebrities. A short Q&A with LITZ and their Creative Head Teacher Georcelle and a short performance will ensue before the showing of the music video at Cinema 3 of The Fisher Mall in Quezon City at 7pm.

The “Kidlat” music video will subsequently premiere at the LITZ official YouTube channel at 8pm.
