“Alam mo naman si Presidente (You know how the President is), he keeps us on our toes eh so... I hope so,” Marcos said in an ambush interview on Tuesday, March 29 after a campaign sortie here.

As of this posting, Duterte has not yet endorsed any presidential candidate.

However, the Partido Demokratiko Pilipinas–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) Cusi wing, which Duterte chairs, officially endorsed Marcos as its presidential candidate.

Just a day prior to Marcos’s Zamboanga sortie, the UniTeam held a grand rally in Sultan Kudarat on March 28, President Duterte’s birthday.

It was during this Sultan Kudarat grand rally that Marcos bid the crowd to greet the President a happy birthday.

He also told local folk bout the family alliance between the Marcoses and the Dutertes, an alliance which is best represented by his presidential campaign alongside his running mate and presidential daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Meanwhile, it’s been rumored that the President himself will be present at the UniTeam rally that's scheduled to take place in Davao de Oro on Wednesday, March 30.
