Ma, 2 sons nabbed in drug, gun raid in Silay City


BACOLOD CITY - A family of three allegedly involved in drug trade was arrested in a raid in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Thursday.

Arrested were Sheril Brady, 47, who was reportedly under the drugs watchlist, and her two sons - Rynol Brady, 28, and Reymar Brady, 21, are all residents of Barangay Mambulac.

According to the police, the three are considered street level individuals.

Police confiscated from them about 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P204,000, drug paraphernalia, a .38 caliber revolver loaded with two live ammunition, a homemade shotgun, and P500.

Meanwhile, in San Carlos City, four persons, including two relatives were arrested in a drug bust in Barangay Buluangan, on Saturday, March 19.

Police arrested the subject as Roger Cajuelan, 40; Angelo Escuadro, 32, John Marco Bacurnay, 34, and his nephew Jose Rodjen Bacurnay, 34, all residents of Barangay Buluangan.

Lt. Ruby Aurita, deputy police chief of San Carlos City Police Station, said Cajuelan was caught allegedly transacting with the three others.

Recovered from them were 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, Cajuelan's .38 caliber revolver loaded with six live ammunition, the P1,000 marked money, and P1,230.
