MP the King shrugs off comparison with H2wo: ‘Kay H2 ako natuto’

Nexplay Evos rookie Michael “MP the King” Endino shrugged off the notion that he is stronger than John Paul “H2wo” Salonga and even credited the star jungler for his stellar performance in his first season in the league.

While the NXPE rookie plays better than his veteran counterpart, it does not mean that H2wo was weaker than him according to MP. For the 17-year-old player, the only reason why he had better performance than H2wo was because the current META favored his objective-centric playstyle more.

“Para sa akin po, parehas kaming malakas sadyang magkaiba lang kami ng playstyle, mas pabor lang talaga yung playstyle ko ngayon sa laro namin,” said MP the King during the post-game interview in the aftermath of its 2-1 victory over TNC Pro Team ML.

So far, NXPE has been undefeated with a 3-0 record when MP the King plays while the squad had a 1-2 win-loss slate with H2wo on the jungle role – something that the latter is getting heavily criticized on.

MP the King though came to the defense of H2wo saying that the veteran player has been doing his share in their victories despite the lackluster performance.

“Di ko masasabing mahina si H2 kasi dun ako natuto. Kay H2 talaga ako natuto lumakas kaya isa sya sa mga rason kung bat sobrang confident ako sa laro ko kasi palagi nya ako chini-cheer up tapos lagi niya ako tinutulungan sa mga bagay-bagay,” explained MP the King.

NXPE rookie and roamer Kenneth “Cadenza” Castro also echoed his sentiments.

“Para pong kapatid namin siya kasi ganun po yung tingin niya po sa amin tsaka sobrang bait po niya tumutulong po siya sa amin, masarap po kabonding,” he shared.

Addressing the bashers of H2wo, MP the King warned them to look out for H2wo’s performance once the META game shifts to his favor.

“Masasabi ko sa nagcocompare sa amin, di lang talaga pabor kay H2 ngayon kaya antayin niyo kapag ‘yung meta ngayon magshishift uli kay H2, mag step-up yan ng sobra.”
