President Duterte has transferred Davao City regional trial court (RTC) Judge Edilu P. Hayag to Branch 26 of the Manila RTC.
Hayag’s lateral transfer was contained in an appointment paper sent by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea and received by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo last March 9.
As of last March 9, the President has appointed 115 judges for the country’s RTCs, municipal trial courts, municipal circuit trial courts, municipal trial courts in cities, and metropolitan trial courts.
The President has also appointed one Supreme Court (SC) justice, 15 associate justices of the Court of Appeals (CA), and one associate justice of the Sandiganbayan.
