Watching from the sidelines in the first three weeks of the tournament, Bren’s second team led by veteran Alan “Lusty” Castromayor made the most of their playing time as they also snap Omega’s two-game win streak.

Dale Rolan “Stowm” Vidor and Mujahid “Lord Malikk” Malik also made their presence felt in their debut as they powered Bren to its first series win since its last victory in Week 6 of last season.

Bren started off the series by notching its first point in Season 9 with a 12-2 rout of Omega in the opening game of their series. Malik ran wild on his Aulus jungler with a perfect 8-0-2 KDA highlighted by Maniac during the first Lord fight at the 10-minute mark.

It was a wire-to-wire win for Bren as Lusty on the Akai and Stowm on the Yve did their damage in the match making Christian “Raizen” Sumagui’s Fanny bleed for his farms and kills and allowing Malik to get the advantage in the jungle battle.

Bren heroes snowballed from that point as Pandora also finished with a 3-0-6 line on the Dyrroth while Stowm followed suit with a 1-0-7 line.

Omega’s banked on its comeback genes once more as it returned the favor in the second game with a 22-10 domination of Bren. Raizen refused to back down as he unloaded an immaculate 10-0-7 performance on the Ling.

Patrick “E2max” Caidic also set the tone for Omega as Bren struggled to get past his Pharsa’s zone to finish with a 3-2-13 score line.

Riding the Game 2 win, Omega was quick to take control of the match in the winner-take-all behind its fiery 6-1 start. Momentum however shifted to Bren’s favor after the crew managed to pick off Raizen’s Lance in a clash in the top lane at nine-minute mark of the game.

Bren secured the Lord and continued to dominated in the ensuing plays to take the lead and leave Omega in the dust with its narrow 15-14 win.

Bren improved to a 1-5 record in the standings with two points to show while Omega dropped to a 2-4 slate.
