Yuka Saso fired a closing three-under-par 69 to finish at joint 43rd in the HSBC Women’s World Championship at the Sentosa Golf Club, Tenjong Course in Singapore Sunday.

The 20-year-old carded five birdies to make up for a double bogey on the par-5 fifth hole and finished with a four-round total of 286.

She had earlier rounds of 71, 73 and 73.

Saso finished 15 strokes behind eventual champion and world No. 1 Jin Young Ko, who sizzled with a 66.

Jin, who trailed In Gee Chun by one shot heading to the final round, blasted the course with seven birdies – five at the back nine – against a lone bogey on the par-4 12th to finish with a 271 total after earlier rounds of 69, 67 and 69.

Minjin Lee also torched the course with an impressive 63, but settled for the runner up honors after finishing two strokes behind Jin with 273.

She had earlier rounds of 71, 69 and 70.

So explosive was Lee that she birdied 11 holes against bogeys on ninth and 14th.

Chun, for her part, tied with Lee at second after shooting a 69.
