The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced that the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 will finally be reopened on March 28 after more than two years of being closed to public due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal said Thursday, March 3, that the reopening of NAIA Terminal 4 will coincide with the preparation of the agency for the summer season where visitors are expected to flock various tourist destinations.
Among the domestic airlines that use NAIA Terminal 4 include Air Asia, Cebgo, Air Swift, Sky Jet, and other small passenger aircraft.
The NAIA Terminal 4 was closed since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020.
It was used as a vaccination center when the MIAA launched a vaccination program to airport employees.
