Fire in Bacoor, Cavite leaves 30 families homeless


BACOOR CITY, Cavite – A blaze broke out in a residential area in Barangay Habay II, leaving 30 to 34 families homeless on Thursday, March 3.

The fire was reported at 3:30 p.m. and reached the second alarm at 3:48.

The flames were declared under control at 4:42 p.m. and extinguished at 4:56 p.m.

The Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office told the Manila Bulletin that affected families were evacuated at the basketball court of Barangay Habay II.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Bacoor is still investigating the cause of the fire.
