Caloocan City vaccinates more than 25,000 children ages 5-11

The Caloocan City government announced on Sunday, Feb. 27, that they have already vaccinated a total of 28, 813 children aged five to 11 against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as of Feb. 25.

The total number was released by the city’s Health Department (CHD).

In a Facebook post, Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan thanked all the parents who had their children get vaccinated against the virus and urged others to have their kids listed for the jabs.

Parents can visit the link bit.ly/CaloocanProfiling5-11 to register the minors for their vaccinations or coordinate with the Department of Education – Caloocan (DepEd Caloocan) for their schedules.

The local government said that the mass vaccination for the children and other age groups will resume on Monday, Feb. 28 (time and venues are yet to be announced).
