Five of the Philippines’ "best and brightest stars" are to be featured in Philippine Postal Corporation's (PHL Post) newest stamps.
The stamps, part of the "Outstanding Filipinos: Living Legends Series," will be made public today, 4 p.m.
To be featured are "cinema queens" Rosa Rosal, Susan Roces, Gloria Romero, Nora Aunor, and Vilma Santos.
Five other Filipinos who have made an indelible mark in their respective industries locally and abroad, complete the set.
These include two sports greats, two internationally-recognized scientists, and one critically-acclaimed painter.
The issuance of the commemorative stamps is in line with the 75th Anniversary celebration of the first stamp as issued by the country.
The stamps will be unveiled in an online event hosted by PHLPost.
