Billy Crawford made great effort to inform rumormongers about “Lunch Out Loud” or “LOL,” recently.

He shared a statement from Brightlight Productions CEO Albee Benitez relating to ongoing talks about the show ending soon.

“There is NO truth to the claim,” Albee stated.

According to Benitez, “LOL” has been “thriving well” in terms of ratings as gathered through Nielsen.

He added that it remains competitive against rival shows in Luzon and, on numerous occasions, even surpassing them in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.

“It is truly unfortunate that such malicious rumor has been made to circulate. My political pursuit has absolutely nothing to do with the show,” he reiterated. “All these speculations are unfounded assertions, aimed solely to sow unnecessary intrigue, at the expense of innocent people’s livelihood.”

“The LOL family has strongly survived more than a year on-air, despite the pandemic. The show has a lot of exciting things to offer in the coming months. I would like to reassure the public that LOL stays committed in giving fun, laughter and prizes to every household,” he ended.

“LOL,” which premiered October 2020, has Billy along with Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, K Brosas, KC Montero, Wacky Kiray, Jeff Tam, and Laboching as presenters.
