Presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s participation in the upcoming Commission on Elections' (Comelec) debate is not yet confirmed, his spokesperson said Thursday, Feb. 24.
This came after Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said that all 10 presidential candidates will attend the poll body's sponsored debate on March 19.
Lawyer Vic Rodriguez, Marcos Jr.'s spokesman, said he will only confirm the latter's participation in the event that "his hectic campaign schedules permit" it.
The Comelec debate is slated from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., March 19 at the Philippine Arena in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
