BTS’ Jimin, Kang Daniel, 2PM’s Junho, BTS’ V and BTS’ Jin topped the brand reputation index for individual K-pop boy band members for the month of February 2022.
The Korea Corporate Research Institute analyzed 117 million brand big data from 703 members of K-pop boy bands from Jan. 19 to Feb. 19, 2022, up by 3.12 percent from 113.48 million pieces of big data in January.
Their brand reputation index was based on consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices.
The brand reputation index aims to find out that consumers’ online habits have a great influence on brand consumption.
BTS’ Jimin topped the February 2022 ranking with a brand reputation index score of 7.25 million, up from his second-place score of 7.17 million in January.
Kang Daniel, former member of defunct boy band Wanna One, rose to second from third place with a score of 7.07 million, an increase of 31.98 percent from 5.35 million in January.
2PM’s Junho slid to third from first place, getting a brand reputation index score of 4.74 million, down by 36.15 percent from 7.42 million last month.
BTS’ V rose to fourth place from 10th last month with a score of 4.72 million, a rise by 61.48 percent from 2.92 million in January.
BTS’ Jin ranked fifth, getting a score of 4.52 million, a decrease of 11.17 percent from his fourth-place score of 5.09 million last month.
