Alice Visperas, Officer-In-Charge – Assistant Secretary of the Overseas Operations and Adjudication Cluster, will lead the discussion on the creation of the Department of Migrant Workers in the top-rating show "Oh My Job!" this Saturday, Feb. 12.

President Duterte has signed into law last December 2021 the establishment of the Department of Migrant Workers. Under the measure, the department will absorb the functions of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and will be tasked to protect the rights of migrant workers.

It will also regulate overseas employment and the reintegration of Filipino workers. It will serve as the “go-to agency” for concerns of overseas Filipino workers.

Anchored by Arnell Ignacio, Tuesday Niu and Bea Binene, this episode will also tackle the hiring of foreign workers in Japan. Labor Attache Marie Rose Escalada of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office – Tokyo, Japan will also be present to answer and clarify issues related to the topic.

In the “Bongga Ka Job” segment, the show will follow the story of OFW John Andrew Danca who used to be a working student and now a restaurant owner.

Also, more jobs will be announced in the “Oh May Jobs Dito” segment. Catch “Oh My Job” on Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., aired simultaneously on GTV and DZBB 594 Super Radyo, and live-streamed through its Facebook page @OhMyJobPhilippines.
