Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk star in new drama coming this week

“Twenty Five Twenty One” is an upcoming Korean drama, which revolves around a passionate friendship, an overwhelming love that brewed despair and agony in the middle of the East Asian Financial Crisis. Starring Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk, this new K-drama is set in the late ‘90s to the early 2000s and follows the lives of five young people who thought they would be together forever.

In the trailer, we are introduced to these five young people: Na Hee-do (Kim Tae Ri), Back Yi-Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk), Ko Yu-rim (Kim Ji Yeon), Moon Ji-woong (Choi Hyun Wook), and Ji Seung Wan (Lee Ju Myoung). The show is under the direction of Jung Jee Hyun and is produced as a collaboration with Netflix.

The drama is set to air its first episode this Saturday, Feb. 12. You can catch it on Netflix an hour after its tvN release in South Korea. The show will broadcast two episodes per week, every Saturdays and Sundays at 9 p.m. Philippine time.
