Three men were arrested in a buy-bust operation led by the Rizal Police Provincial Office (RPPO) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo City on Wednesday, Jan. 26, yielding almost P900k in shabu.
RPPO Director Col. Dominic Baccay identified the three suspects as Djoen Ybanez Canata, Michael Flores Jimenez, and Angelo Misa Lawaan.
The three were nabbed at around 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Dimson Street in Barangay Cupang, Rizal.
Confiscated from the suspects was a plastic bag containing about 127 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P863,000.
The three suspects are now under police custody and will be charged with violations against Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Cherrylin Caacbay)
