Senator Ronald ‘’Bato’’ dela Rosa on Saturday, Jan. 29 dared Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon to name names because all senators are now the cloud of suspicion of interfering in election-related issues at the Commission .
Guanzon had alleged that a senator might be behind the delay in the release of the decision on the disqualification case of presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III earlier said it is best for Guanzon that she identifies the senator, ‘’otherwise we will all be suspect.’’
Dela Rosa said he could not possibly the one because he is not influential or powerful.
‘’Physically, I am, not politically,’’ he said during a DWIZ radio interview today.
Dela Rosa is dubbed ‘’Bato’’’ (the Rock) because he is well-built.
He asked about what would ‘’benefit us if we interfere and if we do, for what reason?’’
