The Philippines has a new world boxing champion in Mark Magsayo who dethroned World Boxing Council (WBC) featherweight titlist Gary Russell Jr. via majority decision in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022.

The country’s vaccine czar said walk-in would be allowed at “Resbakuna sa Botika” sites as long as there would still be available vaccines after the pre-registered vaccinees are accommodated.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported that it has already facilitated the return of distressed and stranded Filipinos ever since the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic broke out two years ago.
