BBM to join presidential interviews organized by ABS-CBN

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand ‘’Bongbong’’ R. Marcos Jr will join presidential interviews to be organized by ABS-CBN, lawyer Victor Rodriguez, a Marcos spokesman, told PTV News on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Whether Marcos would grant interviews with other media organizations, Rodriguez said: ‘’Basta parehas ang laban haharap kami (If the fight is fair, we will show up).’’

It is ironic that Marcos chose ABS-CBN over the Jessica TV talk show of GMA-7 since ABS-CBN had been critical of the administration of Marcos’ father, late President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

The camp of Marcos said it decided not to attend the Soho talk show because Jessica is biased.

‘’Jessica Soho, biased?,’’ asked presidential aspirant Senator Panfilo M. Lacson in his Twitter account.

‘’I was asked very hostile questions like my role during martial law, why I evaded arrest in 2010, my co-authorhip and sponsorship of the Anti-Terror Law, human rights issues and other hard questions. I don’t think so. Like any journalist, trabaho niya yun (It is her job),’’ Lacson said.

Of the five leading candidates for the presidency, only Lacson, Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Emmanuel D. Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno have accepted the invitation for tomorrow’s program.
