Pasay City's 3 most wanted persons arrested


The Pasay City police arrested three wanted persons in a series of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted on Monday (Jan. 17).

Pasay City police chief, Col. Cesar Paday-os identified the arrested suspects as Russel Morales, 20, who was ranked 16th most wanted person; Paul Frederick, 20, both residents of 1089 Almazor St., Barangay 184, Zone 19, Maricaban, Pasay City; and Alexander Ferrer,18, who ranked 9th on the most wanted list, and a resident of 2466 Tolentino St., Barangay 129 Zone 13, Pasay City.

Paday-os said members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) arrested Morales at about 1:00 p.m. after a warrant of arrest issued by Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Rowena Nieves Tan of Branch 119 for the crime of robbery and with a recommended bail of P48,000.

Paday-os said WSS members again conducted SACLEO at about 2:30 p.m. resulting in the arrest of Ferrer for the crime of robbery and illegal possession of firearms.

He said a warrant of arrest was issued against Ferrer by Pasay RTC Judge Wilhelmina Bago Jorge- Wagan of Branch 111 on Dec. 28, 2021 with a recommended bail of P120,000.

The City police chief said with the conduct of SACLEO, Frederick was arrested at about 4:00 p.m. for violation of the Violence Against Women and Children Act, RA 9262, with a recommended bail of P72,000.

Paday-os said a warrant of arrest was issued by RTC Judge Christina Castaneda of Branch 109 on Jan. 2, 2022 against Frederick.
