Last April 2019 hunk actor Derek Ramsay signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network.
But after three years, he only made one project with them, which was the drama series “The Better Woman” along with former girlfriend Andrea Torres.
Note that since the pandemic happened, he hasn’t accepted any work that require lock-in taping.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Morly Alinio on DZRH, Derek talked about his decision to “freeze” their deal.
“Freeze, suspended, it’s more like it,” he said.
“Kasi nung inalok sa akin yung ‘To Have and To Hold,’ yung teleserye ni Rocco (Nacino)…
He’s thankful that GMA network perfectly understood his request.
“So, naintindihan naman ng GMA yun, they respected my decision. So, nag-decide kami na i-suspend muna yung kontrata hanggang ready na ako magtrabaho ulit, when I feel na it’s safe na to work,” he explained.
