The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has offered a P100,000-reward to anyone on information that would lead to the arrest of one of the three persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) who escaped from the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City last Monday, Jan. 17.

Still to be accounted for is escapee Drakilou Y. Falcon, 34, a native of Libasgua, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur. He had been convicted of robbery with homicide.

“P100,000 reward will be given to anyone who can provide information on the location of PDL Falcon who is considered armed and dangerous,” reads the announcement posted by the BuCor Monday night, Jan. 17.

The two other escapees – Arwin V. Bio and Pacificico V. Adlawan – had been killed when they fought it out with BuCor personnel and Muntinlupa City policemen, BuCor Deputy Director General Gabriel P. Chaclag said.

Chaclag had said that BuCor, with the assistance of the Muntinlupa City policemen, will pursue the manhunt for Falcon.

“The safety of the public is of paramount concern and BuCor authorities will not stop until the last escapee is accounted for in order to ensure that the escapee will not be able to inflict harm again,” he stressed.
