PNP alerts NCR, other units on escape of 3 NBP convicts

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has alerted all its police units in Metro Manila and nearby provinces to assist the Bureau of Corrections in recapturing three convicts who bolted the National Penitentiary in Muntinlupa.

PNP chief Gen Dionardo Carlos said they have already provided the police units with names, photos and all the other available information of the three escaped convicts who were declared armed and dangerous by the BuCor.

They were identified as Drakilou Yosores, who was convicted of robbery with homicide; Arwin Bio, sentenced for frustrated murder; and Pacific Villaruz, who was found guilty for illegal drugs case, frustrated homicide and attempted homicide.

"These fugitives are presumed armed and considered dangerous; and must be approached with caution," said Carlos.

"As national prisoners who are serving sentence for their crime, warrantless arrest applies for their immediate arrest on sight by any member of a law enforcement agency or its deputized agents," he added.

Carlos also urged the public to report any sighting of these individuals to the Bureau of Corrections thru Tel No. 09186001081 or to the nearest police station.
