Manila to open drive-thru booster vaccination for PUV drivers


The City of Manila will launch a free drive-thru booster vaccination campaign for Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers starting Monday, Jan. 17.

On Monday, Jan. 17, a drive-thru vaccination facility will be opened at the Bagong Ospital ng Maynila beside Manila Zoo in Malate, Manila from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jeepney drivers, tricycle drivers, delivery van drivers, taxicab drivers, and other PUV drivers are eligible to avail of the free booster vaccination and they are required to bring their vaccination card.

Approximately 1,000 PUV drivers will be accommodated on that day.

All brands of vaccines will also be available at the vaccination site.

Meanwhile, Manila extended its active drive-thru booster vaccination programs for two-wheel vehicles at the Bonifacio Shrine in Ermita Manila, and the 24-hour drive-thru for four-wheel vehicles at the Quirino Grandstand until Sunday, Jan. 16.
