In its latest advisory, SLMC assured it will continue to accommodate admissions and outpatient procedures and services.

"We have separate areas dedicated to those with COVID-19 symptoms to ensure the safety of everyone," SLMC said.

"Be assured that our medical team is exerting best efforts to provide urgent and quality patients care amid the current surge," it added.

SLMC earlier said that the waiting time to seek medical consultation for COVID-related symptoms in its ER is "longer than usual."

The hospital also encouraged the public to observe minimum public health and safety protocols at all times and help stop the further spread of COVID-19 in the community.
