Polaris Esports is now one win away from sweeping the SEA DPC Winter Tour Division II following its come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Nigma Galaxy SEA on Saturday, Jan 15.

Polaris pulled off a hard-earned reverse sweep victory as it came through with the clutch plays in the late game to shake off the gritty NGX.SEA team.

After falling short in its comeback attempt in the opening game and absorbed a 30-35 defeat, Polaris made sure to get the job done in Game 2 as it climbed its way back from a 17K net worth hole to take a 36-25 win.

The all-Filipino squad completed an Aegis steal following a messy team fight in the Roshan pit at the 44-minute mark of the game. That allowed Polaris to turn the tides to its favor and took down all of the five heroes from NGX.SEA in the following sequences to force the winner-take-all.

Polaris then made sure that its Game 2 efforts will not come to waste as the Filipinos went on a rampage in Game 3 and annihilated NGX.SEA, 41-20, to keep its record spotless after six games.

John Anthony “Natsumi” Vargas and Mc Nicholson "Lelouch" Villanueva conspired in Polaris comeback, providing a steady presence for the Filipinos during the reverse sweep.

Natsumi unloaded a huge 11-2-17 line on the Phantom Lancer in their Game 2 comeback before following it up with a 13-2-10 showing on the Wraith King in Game 3.

Lelouch, meanwhile, put up a perfect Ember Spirit game with a monster 19-0-16 KDA in the deciding a game – a fitting follow up to his 10-6-17 line on the Void Spirit.

Polaris, though is still not assured of its Division I promotion despite topping the standing with a 6-0 record. NGX.SEA and Ragdoll are just half a game behind Polaris with a 5-1 record. The Filipino quintet needs to win against Ragdoll in its final match to assure itself a spot in the upper division in the next tour.
