Four more employees of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in its main offices in Manila are infected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

There are now 63 active COVID cases compared to the 59 cases which had been recorded as of last Wednesday, Jan. 12, said DOJ Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay Villar.

Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra had earlier directed a reduction of workforce reporting physically to the DOJ offices from 60 percent to just 30 percent.

“Work-from-home and online conduct of official transactions shall be the primary mode of rendering service until further notice,” Guevarra said.

A total of 772 of the 804 officials and employees of the DOJ in its Manila offices had been vaccinated.
