Sara commits support for bills filed by allies in Senate race

If she becomes the vice president, Sara Duterte-Carpio will support all the bills to be passed by senators running under her party in the upcoming elections.

During her newly-launched talk show aired on Facebook on Wednesday, the vice presidential aspirant assured all the senatorial wannabes under her line-up of her support by helping them pass into laws the measures they will propose in the Congress.

"As Vice-president, I commit to help you, senators, in passing laws and in supporting our future President Bong Bong Marcos in implementing them in the future,” Duterte-Carpio said, whose senatorial line-up is already composed of six candidates.

Duterte-Carpio's pledge came after senatorial aspirant and one of her bets, Harry Roque, expressed his plans to re-file all the 210 bills he proposed when he was still a congressman.

Other things he plans to do is to sponsor a supplemental budget for those affected by Typhoon Odette in Maasin, Leyte as well as to demand a proper implementation of the PhilHealth processes.

For Duterte-Carpio, Roque's plans are "music" to her ears.
